Giada De Laurentiis Has Getaway with Boyfriend Shane Farley for 10th Anniversary

Giada De Laurentiis recently marked a special milestone with boyfriend Shane Farley.

The celebrity chef, 55, revealed on Instagram that she and Farley celebrated their 10 year anniversary by embarking on a relaxing weekend getaway, and shared some glimpses into the celebration.

She kicked off her Instagram Stories on Monday, Sept. 1 with a selfie of her and Farley smiling at the camera. She could be seen wearing a hat and sunglasses, while Farley wore a white shirt, black cap and black sunglasses. 

Over the photo, she wrote, “Best long weekend celebrating 10 years with Shane ❤️🫶.” She added a shoutout to Shane, saying, “love u!!”

She then shared an overhead view of what appeared to be a resort, complete with palm trees, cabanas and a large pool in the center. Their getaway would also not be complete without a good meal, and the pair made sure to go all out.

De Laurentiis shared a snap of their room service dinner, which included a green curry with vegetables on top and another multi-colored dish with octopus and garnishes of radish and onions on top. 

The vacation capped off what appeared to be a busy summer for the pair, as the Super-Italian cookbook author previously shared pictures of the two attending a wedding in Hershey, Pa. in June. 

Farley could be seen smiling and pointing to a bright-red tractor in the corner of the photo as he stood behind De Laurentiis. Meanwhile, she was captured shooting the camera with a large smile as she wore a white jacket and matching sunglasses. 

While the couple started dating in 2015, they have known each other for over a decade, initially meeting in 2013 to talk business. Farley, who works as a TV producer, was hired to produce a talk show with De Laurentiis and her friend and fellow Food Network star, Bobby Flay. Although the talk show didn’t come to fruition, Farley and De Laurentiis remained friends.

“I just thought she was really smart and funny and I thought, ‘God, she would be a great host for a show,'” he previously told PEOPLE about their initial meeting.

Their friendship eventually grew into a romance, and the cookbook author told PEOPLE in October 2024 that she credited their successful relationship to “a lot of laughter” and “patience.”

He has also since developed a close relationship with De Laurentiis’ daughter Jade, whom she shares with then-husband, Todd Thompson. The trio can frequently be seen together on social media, spending holidays together, vacationing and celebrating momentous occasions including her 2022 middle school graduation.
