Lady Gaga will be wreaking mayhem at the 2025 MTV VMAs.

On Saturday, Aug. 30, the MTV VMAs Instagram account confirmed Mother Monster’s appearance at the star-studded awards show. “There will be magic in the air at the 2025 #VMAs because @LADYGAGA IS PERFORMING! 🪄 ,” they wrote.

“You won’t want to miss her return, September 7 on @cbstv and @paramountplus!” the MTV Instagram account added, “let mayhem commence!!!”

Gaga, 39, last performed at the (virtually broadcast) awards show in 2020 with Ariana Grande, singing “Rain on Me” along with other songs from her Chromatica album. Their duet was awarded Song of the Year, while Gaga took home the Artist of the Year award.

Before that, she took the stage at the 2013 iteration of the awards show
