Christophe Marque’s purchase comes as the Big Apple gears up for New York Fashion Week in mid-September, although Gucci — which was part of February’s New York fashion week — does not appear to be a participant for the spring/summer 2026 shows. Instead, the Italian luxury brand is focused on a reboot, according to reports.

Marque, who launched his new position in April, could not be reached for comment at press time. He is reportedly an integral part of the new management team brought in by CEO Stefano Cantino.

Before joining Gucci, Marque held top roles at DFS Group, an LVMH subsidiary, leading global merchandising and marketing. He started his career at L’Oréal Luxe, working with tony brands like Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, and Giorgio Armani, before making his name at Hermès.

The listing hit the market in May.

The ritzy residence is at 420 E. 75th St. — a boutique, seven-story building with just six units that was completed earlier this year.

The turnkey three-bedroom, 3.5-bath unit is 2,350 square feet, takes up a full floor and boasts two private balconies.

A private elevator landing opens to a large center hall. The smashing spread also features a formal library — plus an open great room for entertaining that boasts a wall of oversized windows with tree-top views of East 75th Street, and access to the home’s north-facing balcony.

The unit is also anchored by a roomy chef’s kitchen with a 10-foot island, a trash chute and a hidden walk-in pantry.

The primary bedroom suite features a walk-in closet, a spa-like bath with radiant heat and a south-facing balcony.

Building amenities feature a landscaped roof deck with elevator access and a barbecue. There’s also a residents’ library and a double-height lounge — as well as a private garden, a gym, a pet spa and a bike room.

The listing brokers were Tom Postillo and Mickey Conlin of Compass. Marque was repped by Brown Harris Stevens’ Matt Cohen.
