Peacock Shifts ‘The Paper’ To Binge Release Ahead Of September Premiere
The Paper will be landing with a splash when it premieres on Peacock in September.
Peacock announced it will now be releasing all 10 episodes of The Paper Season 1 when it premieres. The show was initially set to premiere with the first four episodes, with two new episodes airing weekly every Thursday until Sept. 25.
TVLine reports that Peacock shifted the strategy due to the “overwhelmingly positive early reaction to the series.”
The new series is a follow-up to The Office. In this iteration, the documentary crew that filmed Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch finds a new subjects in the staff of a historic Midwestern newspaper as it finds new leadership in the eager editor-in-chief.
The cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Imapcciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Ramona Young, and more.
Oscar Nuñez will also be reprising his role as as former Dunder Mifflin accountant Oscar, though he does not appear too happy to be back in front of the camera this time.
The Paper was co-created by The Office creator Greg Daniels and Nathan For You creator Michael Koman.

All 10 episodes of The Paper will release on Peacock Thursday, Sept. 4.
