Jake Paul vs. Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis boxing exhibition announced

Jake Paul picking on someone his own age — just not his size.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will fight in an exhibition match against WBA lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis, 30, Paul announced Wednesday.

Paul, 28, fought Mike Tyson while weighing 227 pounds in November 2024; Davis typically fights at 135 pounds.

The bout is scheduled for Nov. 14 in Atlanta and will be streamed exclusively on Netflix.

It had long been rumored that Paul was going to fight heavyweight Anthony Joshua, although it appears that fight has fallen through.

Paul had been expecting to fight Canelo Alvarez earlier this year, but those talks also fell through at the last moment, when Alvarez decided instead to sign with Middle Eastern boxing promoter Turki Alalshikh.

“Canelo only fights real fighters,” Alalshikh said in a statement.

This fight echoes a similar bout that took place in 2021, when Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, fought Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition.

Logan weighed 189 1/2 pounds in that fight, while Mayweather weighed in at 155.

Davis, 30-0-1, is coming off a 12-round decision win over Lamont Roach Jr. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

He also previously knocked out Ryan Garcia in April 2023.

Paul is coming off wins over Tyson and Julio Caesar Chavez Jr., 39 — a June decision for which he weighed in at 199.4 pounds.
