Wendy Williams spotted out to dinner with friends after heartbreaking update on dementia battle

Wendy Williams is out on the town after she was once again diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

The former talk show stepped out for dinner with friends at popular New York hot spot Tucci’s Saturday night.

Despite her recent cognitive test results, Williams still appeared in high spirits.

Williams went in for another round of cognitive testing earlier this week as she continues to fight her conservatorship battle.

The official results have not yet been released, but doctors have confirmed her original diagnosis, according to People.

However, an insider tells Page Six that Williams has no confirmation on her end that the test results are accurate.

Williams’ cognitive capacity has become a focus of her fight to be free of her legal guardianship since the media personality started seeking a way out of her guardianship earlier this year.

The “Masked Singer” alum, 61, was placed in a guardianship in 2022 by a New York judge at a court proceeding sparked by Williams’ bank, Wells Fargo, who had put a freeze on her accounts due to suspicious activity and sent a letter to court recommending a guardianship to prevent her from “undue influence and financial exploitation.”

Though, Williams has claimed she doesn’t need to be placed under the conservatorship and has said she doesn’t like her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

Williams has gained the support of many fans who’ve also started to push for her freedom online and by hitting the streets holding protests.

In addition to the fans, she’s also received support from her family — which surprisingly includes her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, whom she divorced in 2020 after he cheated on her.

Most recently, Hunter filed a whopping $250 million lawsuit against Morrissey in June in an attempt to end Williams’ conservatorship.

A source previously told us that Kevin stepped in to file the suit in place of their son who felt “threatened” by a New York state judge in his mother’s conservatorship case.
