Mets spiraling toward the unfathomable with only one thing left to save them
When things are going this bad — the Mets haven’t beaten anyone besides their West Coast twin in disappointment, the San Francisco Giants, since July 22 — it isn’t easy keeping the faith.
But at least one important fan is hanging in there. Yes, Mets owner Steve Cohen told The Post that he still believes.
“I know how vested our fans are in this team. While the team has had a difficult run, I still believe in our team and believe they will turn it around. LGM,” Cohen texted when I reached out Monday.
(Side note: Cohen responded in the middle of a trading day of another sort. So you know he’s invested in this team, too.)
