Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas reunite for ‘Camp Rock’ performance at Jonas Brothers concert
It’s a “Camp Rock” reunion!
The Jonas Brothers welcomed Joe Jonas’ ex-girlfriend, Demi Lovato, on stage for a surprise performance at their first concert on their “Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour” at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.
Joe Jonas sang”Gotta Find You” from the 2008 Disney Channel movie before the siblings introduced Lovato, 32, to huge applause from the crowd.
Lovato joined her ex and his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas as they performed a medley of two other “Camp Rock” songs, “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
On TikTok, Lovato posted a clip from the performance and wrote, “thanks for having me @Jonas Brothers 🫶.”
Joe and Lovato also hung out backstage and made a video of them lip syncing to “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
In a second video, the exes lip-synched to fellow Disney alum Debby Ryan’s “Sat Down with the President of Disney Channel” viral speech. Lovato captioned the clip: “for the history books @joejonas.”
Fans reacted to the thrilling reunion on social media.
“THIS HEALED SOMETHING IN ME,” one fan wrote in the comments section of Lovato’s TikTok from the concert.
“my 2025 is complete,” another fan said.
“This should heal every single disney kids out there ☺️I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!” a third TikToker wrote.
“Mitchie and Shane forever 🥹,” a different fan added, referring to Lovato and Joe’s “Camp Rock” characters.
Lovato’s husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, also reacted to the big concert moment. He shared a clip of Lovato walking out on stage, writing, “Couldn’t be more proud … I love u sooo much baby.”
Before Lovato’s appearance, the Jonas Brothers reflected on “Camp Rock” to the audience.
“Joe got the job, and then somehow our dad figured it out to get me and Kevin to be involved in the movie too,” said Nick, 32, adding, “I think it’s time that we all walk down this memory lane to celebrate a little movie called ‘Camp Rock.’”
Lovato dated Joe for a few months in 2010.
In 2020, Lovato told Harper’s Bazaar that she was no longer in contact with Joe or his brothers.
In May, Lovato married Jutes, 34, in California. The couple got engaged in Dec. 2023 after over a year of dating.
Joe, for his part, was married to “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner, with whom he shares two daughters. The exes finalized their divorce last September after a bitter custody battle.
