NY AG Letitia James subpoenaed by Justice Department over $454M civil fraud case against Trump

WASHINGTON — New York Attorney General Letitia James was hit with subpoenas as part of a grand jury probe by the Albany US Attorney’s Office into her office’s $454 million civil fraud case against President Trump, a source familiar with the investigation told The Post.

The Department of Justice convened a grand jury following after the FBI opened an investigation into the matter.

A second subpoena reportedly dealt with the AG’s own probe into the NRA, The New York Times first reported.

The well-placed source did not indicate whether the probe included recent claims of mortgage fraud by the AG on properties in Brooklyn and Virginia.

A rep for James’ office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
