MGK reveals Megan Fox was ‘fuming’ over a parenting comment
Megan Fox is not cool with MGK getting all the credit for parenting their newborn baby girl, Saga Blade.
“Someone the other day was like, ‘You’re such a good dad,’ because I was just holding the baby,” the rocker, who previously went by the stage name Machine Gun Kelly, joked on Thursday’s episode of “Today With Jenna and Friends.”
“And so she [Megan] was fuming. I just play the guitar and hope and pray that the baby is happy.”
The singer described his life with the infant, who was born in March, as “awesome,” but quickly shut down any suggestion that he was the one responsible for the lion’s share of childcare duties.
“I want to detract any congrats to me, and just move it to Megan,” he gushed. “Because she really does all the work.”
MGK (real name: Colson Baker) added that he “keeps getting called the ‘music teacher’” for their baby.
Though the formerly engaged couple split in December — just weeks after announcing they were expecting their first child together — they’ve since put on a united front while co-parenting.
In fact, just weeks after MGK, 35, and Fox, 39, were seen heading off to Costa Rica for a getaway with their daughter in July, sources claimed the two are working toward a reconciliation.
“Things feel back to ‘normal’ between them, but they are not putting a label on their relationship,” an insider told Us Weekly Thursday.
“They’re still being intimate and technically trying to work things out to reconcile,” a second source added.
“This trip is a big stepping stone in that direction.”
Fox — who shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green — and MGK announced the birth of their daughter in a heartwarming Instagram post on March 27.
Taking to Instagram, the “Bloody Valentine” crooner shared a photo of their baby’s tiny fingers, writing, “She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️. 3/27/25.”
Baker — who also shares daughter Casie, 16, with ex Emma Cannon — later took to Instagram to reveal the child’s moniker.
Alongside a video of himself playing a ukulele as Saga cooed off-camera, he wrote, “Saga Blade Fox-Baker ❤️🔥 thank you for the ultimate gift @meganfox.”
