The only thing these Yankees can do best is lose

By this time on the calendar, by this point in a season, you learn certain truths about your baseball team. You have watched a hundred or so games, every day, every night, and you begin to realize there are certain things your team does well, very well.

And this is what the Yankees are starting to do very, very well:

Lose baseball games.

Lose them? Are you kidding? Friday night they lost a 13-12 theme park of a game that gave most of their most fervent fans night sweats for a couple of days. And then there was Monday night. Then there was the bottom of the ninth and the bottom of the 10th at Globe Life Park.
