The New Trailer For ‘Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical’ On Apple TV+ Features Charlie Brown On A Mission To Save Summer Camp

This summer, get ready to get up and dance with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang with Apple TV+’s Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical. The trailer just dropped for the new family friendly musical premiering Aug. 15, and it’s promising a lot of music, laughs, and summer camp fun.

The magic of summer camp isn’t just about making s’mores and scratching mosquito bites — it’s about joy, friendship, and preserving what you love. The film follows Charlie Brown during his last summer at summer camp, and he’s determined to make it special. But his sister and first-time camper Sally might just get in the way with her distaste for her new surroundings. As Snoopy and Woodstock embark on a treasure hunting adventure, the Peanuts gang learns that the camp is shutting down! What will they do? They’ll sing about it, of course —- the gang must host a concert to save the camp and preserve its legacy.

Singing and dancing are not regular activities for the Peanuts gang —- in fact, Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical is slated to be the first Peanuts musical in 37 years. The new movie is pulling out all the stops for the special occasion, as it features original music by Emmy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, composer, and New York Times bestselling author Ben Folds. Others on the new special’s all-star team of musical powerhouses include Emmy Award-nominated composer Jeff Morrow, along with the veteran Broadway composing duo Alan Zachary & Michael Weiner. Original songs in the new special include “When We Were Light,” “Look Up, Charlie Brown” and “Leave It Better” by Folds, plus “Best Time Ever” and “A Place Like This” by Morrow and Zachary & Weiner.
