Where Is Mark Conseulos on ‘Kelly and Mark’? ‘Live’ Welcomes Steve Patterson As Kelly Ripa’s Guest Host

Live with Kelly and Mark welcomed another guest host on Friday’s episode in the midst of Mark Consuelos‘ absence.

Kelly Ripa was joined by Steve Patterson, a TV and radio personality who has become a familiar face on Live through guest hosting and involvement in different segments.

“We’re doing it again!” Ripa told Patterson as they high-fived.

Patterson echoed, “The sequel!”

Fortunately, Ripa informed viewers on Tuesday’s (July 28) episode, which featured guest host Jerry O’Connell, that Consuelos is “working on a show out in L.A.”

Consuelos was last seen on Monday’s installment of Live, and O’Connell, David Muir, Carson Kressley, and Patterson have since filled in for him.

On Friday, Ripa and Patterson sat down with Pamela Anderson, where Patterson asked her about working with her Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson — who she has been rumored to be in a relationship with.

“Oh, well, I love Liam. He’s one of my favorite people. He’s incredible, and he was so wonderful on the set too, such a gentleman and so generous,” she shared, “always putting his coat around me and seeing if I was ok. It was just really such a pleasure and such a joy. It’s just been this delicious kind of mystery unfolding, which I really love being a part of.”

Patterson wasted no time beating around the bush, telling Anderson that “America has gotten very interested, very quickly in the relationship status of you and Liam Neeson.”

“What can you tell us?” he asked.

Anderson replied, “Why does there have to be a status? I’m enjoying the moment. We’re in the moment, and he’s not here to say anything, so I’ll just say, I just, you know, I’m just enjoying this and enjoying being around him. We just have a really special connection.”

Ripa teased, “I wish Mark was here so that we could play Stump Mark with him right now.”

However, Patterson reminded Anderson of comments Neeson made of his relationship with her recently.

“He said in regards to his relationship with you, he described it by saying, ‘Let’s not mold it. Let it breathe,’” Patterson said, referring to Neeson’s recent interview on TODAY. “What would you say to that?”

Anderson said, “How sexy is that?”
