In addition to featuring a long-awaited age-gap make-out session, the eventful episode welcomed a surprise new arrival to the beach, saw one emotional self-elimination, and followed four couples on heartwarming dates.

Ultimately, Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 5 featured a fair share of competition, romance, drama, and feathers — lots of feathers. And when the end credits rolled, some of the strongest Season 10 relationships were on the rocks ahead of next week’s big reveal. The competition will pick up, and contestants who make it to the end will have to choose between half a million dollars or love!

So who joined the Bachelor in Paradise cast in Season 10, Episode 5? Who went on a date? And who went home during Week 5?! Decider’s got answers!

Who Arrived On The Beach In Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 5? And Who Is Allyshia Gupta?

Though we got a glimpse of her dramatic horseback entrance in Episode 4, Golden Bachelor alum Faith Martin, Gerry Turner’s third runner-up, officially arrived this week. Later on, Allyshia Gupta made a surprise entrance during the chemistry test.

Who is Allyshia Gupta? Allyshia was a contestant on The Bachelor Season 29. Though she snagged Grant’s first kiss, the interior designer from Tampa, Florida, was eliminated in Week 2. Here’s her Bachelor bio if you want to know more:

Allyshia is a beautiful catch with a huge heart. The former pageant queen is currently the longest-reigning Miss California and isn’t afraid of taking risks. A lifelong equestrian lover, Allyshia is obsessed with all things horses but also loves a great beach day and hanging out with her dogs Bentley and Bagel. Allyshia is a hopeless romantic who’s ready for a fairy-tale type of love. The first test for her Prince Charming? Winning the approval of her family!

Who Went On A Date In Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 5?

Episode 5 featured four dates between two Golden couples and two younger couples. First up? Lea took Jonathon on a romantic picnic for some serious life chats. Nancy and Gary attended an intimate “cacao ceremony” and left feeling high on cacao and “sensual energy.” Faith wanted to take Captain Kim horseback riding, but after a brief medical scare landed him a trip to the clinic (he’s fine!) she took her gal Kathy to help her overcome her fear of horses. And Allyshia invited Sean on a five senses date, where the two shared some serious smooches.

As mentioned, Episode 5 also featured a majorly hyped-up group chemistry test: Birds of Paradise. The boys of Paradise designed their own bird costumes, came up with “mating calls,” and choreographed mating dances for the ladies. Whoever had the best chemistry on the dance floor would win special alone time in the BIP VIP Suite. Though Parisa and Brian won the trip to the BIP VIP, 67-year-old April Kirkwood and 28-year-old Sean McLaughlin made contestants and viewers scream the loudest with their NSFW age-gap make-out sesh. Despite the big build-up, there was no rose ceremony in Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 5. But someone still went home! After Allyshia arrived and set her sights on Sean, his Paradise date Jill Chin realized they were better as friends and self-eliminated.

In Season 10, Episode 6, three more women will head home, and some of the strongest couples are in danger. Bailey has yet to learn that Jeremy is still hung up on Susie. Brian and Parisa are on the rocks. And Allyshia is going for Kat’s man, Dale, because “All’s fair in love and war, honey!”
