Prince William, Kate Middleton ready to move on from Adelaide Cottage: report

Prince William and Kate Middleton may have a major move on the horizon.

The royals are reportedly ready to leave their Adelaide Cottage home and upsize to a “more substantial” residence.

The couple and their three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — have “outgrown” their house, a source told the Daily Mail.

The outlet claimed over the weekend that the royals are eyeing Fort Belvedere as their future residence, which would be “the perfect new home for them.”

The insider noted, “It has a swimming pool and tennis court, and Charlotte loves playing tennis.”

Daily Mail reported that previous options — like taking over Prince Andrew’s Royal Lodge or moving into a wing of Windsor Castle — are no longer on the table.

The outlet clarified that while the family of five’s move is not an “imminent” one, they are prioritizing “privacy” and a “rural setting.”

Reps for William and Middleton have yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The following year, a source told us that the pair were “extremely happy” in their four-bedroom home.

Adelaide Cottage, notably, is within the security perimeter of Windsor Castle and a quick drive to the kids’ Lambrook School.

George, however, is expected to start boarding school next year, with his parents eyeing William’s alma mater Eton — despite Middleton’s wishes he go somewhere co-ed.

Another move could be the start of a “new chapter” for the royal family, who have had a tumultuous few years.

William and Middleton previously lived in Adelaide Cottage while navigating their grief over Queen Elizabeth II’s September 2022 passing at the age of 96.

During their time there, Middleton battled cancer, undergoing chemotherapy treatment before announcing her remission last year.
