Yankees acquire Amed Rosario from Nationals to add more depth
Amed Rosario is heading back to New York.
Just not to Queens.
The Yankees acquired Rosario in a trade with the Nationals on Saturday night, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed.
Right-handers Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez are going back to Washington in the deal.
Rosario has hit .270/.310/.426 with five home runs in 46 games this year for the Nationals.

The 29-year-old has largely played third and second base this year, but has experience all across the diamond in his career, including time at shortstop and the outfield.
In his career, he’s mashed lefties with a .799 career OPS against southpaws.
Rosario previously played four years with the Mets after he came up through their system as a top prospect.
