The Backstreet Boys’ Sphere Performance Goes Way, Way Too Hard

Recently, there have been a bunch of musicians that have developed concert “experiences” for the Sphere in Las Vegas. Sure, these experiences haven’t been enough to justify the Sphere, which is still hemorrhaging money, but it’s pretty cool to see how each band has used the space to their advantage.

Recently, the Backstreet Boys (remember them?) began their summer residency at the Sphere. Now, some videos have emerged of their shows, and holy hell, do they go hard. You might not think that the voices behind songs like “Larger Than Life” need visuals on the level of Metropolis, but they decided that they do — and thank God for that.
