NFL Week 7 odds, picks
Sports betting writer Dylan Svoboda joins The Post’s Bettor’s Guide for his second season.
DETROIT LIONS (-5) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Lions will return to Detroit against a banged-up Buccaneers team on Monday.
Detroit fell to the Chiefs in Kansas City on Sunday in what was likely the latter’s most impressive game of the season, but they have a solid shot at getting one back in Week 7 despite playing a fellow NFC contender.
The Buccaneers, who were already banged up last week, got even more so on Sunday when star rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka went down with a hamstring injury.
Unless Mike Evans can return, Baker Mayfield will be leading an offensive attack with Rashaad White, Sterling Shepherd, Cade Otton, Tez Johnson, and Kameron Johnson as his top weapons.
That unit will have a hard time keeping up with the Lions, who were the best offense in football in the four weeks before last week’s dud.
Bet on a bounce back for the Lions on their home field.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-11.5) over Las Vegas Raiders
The Chiefs are back.
As mentioned, Kansas City throttled the Lions on Sunday, and they get a much lighter opponent this week.
Let’s not get their two wins twisted — the Raiders are a bottom-five team in football.
Betting on the NFL?
Their only win until playing the dreadful Titans — who fired their coach after the game — was the season-opener against the Patriots.
Perhaps the only player that could help the Raiders pull off an upset, Brock Bowers, appears likely to miss his third straight game with a knee injury.
With their 3-3 record, don’t be surprised if the Chiefs treat this as a must-win and put the Raiders away early.
LAST WEEK: 1-1.
2025 SEASON: 4-8.
