St. John’s is aiming for absolute bliss — and they’re not shy about it

St. John’s isn’t shying away from the hype.

In fact, they are leaning into it.

“We talk about it for sure, that’s definitely the goal to make it to the last weekend in March or April,” newcomer Bryce Hopkins said during the school’s media day on Thursday inside Carnesecca Arena. “Playing for the Final Four and national championship, that’s definitely our goal.

“We have the pieces to do it. I think we have the depth to do it. We’re unselfish, we’re a great group of guys that are playing for the right reasons.”
