Predator drags girl, 13, into wooded area, sexually assaults her on way to school: cops, sources

A predator dragged a 13-year-old girl into a wooded area and sexually assaulted her as she walked to school in the Bronx Thursday morning, cops and sources said. 

The teen was on her way to Baychester Middle School around 8:20 a.m. when the perv approached and dragged her into a secluded area at East 233rd Street and Wilder Avenue in Edenwald, authorities and sources said. 

There, the sicko “engaged in a lewd act” with the victim before running off, police said. 

The shaken student – who was not physically injured – then walked to her school just around the corner, where she reported the disturbing incident, the sources said. 

The suspect had not been caught hours later, as cops continued to sweep the area. 

The latest attack came about a month after another Bronx sicko — Xavier Chapman, 30 — allegedly stormed up to a 19-year-old woman sitting on a park bench in Belmont and forced himself on her, authorities said.

He was arrested and charged with rape, sexual abuse and harassment, police said. 

And in Brooklyn, alleged serial creep Justin Lee, 22, tried to rape a 12-year-old girl inside a Coney Island apartment building earlier this month — less than a week after he was sprung without bail in a pair of eerily similar attacks, authorities said.
