Glam influencer ordered gang to torture suspects who robbed home: cops
A glamorous Brazilian influencer has been arrested after she allegedly ordered a violent gang to torture two suspects who had apparently broken into her home, cops said.
Izabela Paiva, who regularly flaunts her lavish lifestyle on Instagram, was nabbed Wednesday for allegedly making the Comando Vermelho gangbangers track down the two men suspected of robbing her Porto Velho home, G1 reported.
The 26-year-old mom, who police say has “close ties” to the feared gang, is accused of sending the thugs to punish the alleged thieves and retrieve her belongings.

“Even though she was fully aware of how serious the situation was, the suspect chose not to contact the authorities,” Rondônia State Civil Police said.
“Instead, she deliberately acted outside the law, driven by personal revenge and in clear defiance of the legal system.”
It wasn’t immediately clear if the alleged robbers were tortured, as allegedly ordered, or what possessions were stolen in the first place.
Paiva was out of town when her home was targeted.
She was taken into custody as part of an organized crime operation, police said.

It wasn’t clear if anyone else was nabbed in the sting.
Meanwhile, the buxom blonde — who boasts nearly 50,000 Instagram followers — regularly shows off her luxe life on social media.
Her account is filled with photos of herself posing with jet skis, wads of cash and high-end cards.
Her apparent ties to the Comando Vermelho gang, which is one of Brazil’s oldest and most feared criminal gangs, wasn’t immediately clear.
