Kristin Cavallari inks eight-figure podcast deal after Jay Cutler divorce settlement drama

Kristin Cavallari has signed a multi-year deal with Dear Media that’s reportedly worth over eight figures to expand her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast.

Cavallari’s podcast launched in 2023 — after her “Laguna Beach” rewatch podcast — and focuses on dating, relationships, friendships and families, per Variety.

“I was looking for a new challenge, and coming off of the enjoyment of the ‘Back To The Beach’ podcast, I thought doing my own could be really fun. I love having the freedom to talk about whatever I want and getting to choose guests who have great stories and can hopefully make people laugh, give them real takeaways, and/or inspire them,” she said at the time.

“I’ve always kept the public at an arm’s length. I’m finally in a great place in my life to open up and share some of my experiences,” she continued. “Since my podcast will have a heavy focus on dating and relationships, I’m excited to bring on men as guests in order to shed real light on what they’re thinking and feeling so that women can have a better understanding of the dating world, and I’ll of course share my experience over the past few years being back in the dating world.”

The reality TV alum, 38, previously took the podcast on the road with a multi-city tour where she dished on her personal dating life and confessed to some of her former flings.

The tour was also recorded for a docu-series on E!, “Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour,” which premiered June 5.

In addition to her current romantic happenings, Cavallari has also opened up about her “complicated” co-parenting situation with her ex-husband, Jay Cutler, on the podcast.

The “Very Cavallari” star and the former NFL player, 42, were married from 2013 until they called it quits in 2020.

At the time, sources told us the breakup was due to Cutler’s “unmotivated” and “lazy” attitude following his retirement from professional sports.

The couple settled their divorce in 2022. However, the exact terms of their agreement recently resurfaced as a topic of conversation after Cutler claimed Cavallari made false claims about their settlement by telling her podcast listeners she “didn’t get a penny” in their divorce.

“It’s irresponsible. I think it’s reckless. I think it’s borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage that each side got,” he shared on an August episode of his “Take It Outside” podcast.

Cutler, who earned approximately $127.9 million during his 12-year NFL career, went on to stress that there’s “not a judge in the state of Tennessee” that would have permitted a divorce agreement allowing him to “keep every single dollar” he made during their marriage.

“It’s insanity. It’s completely false, completely untrue. It is, it just is. I’ve got a divorce decree. I’ve got something that’s signed by the judge — it’s like, 67 pages — it says the number breakdown,” Cutler added.

Cavallari has not responded to her ex’s claim, and was seen dodging questions regarding Cutler’s shocking podcast episode in September.
