Kat Stickler sets the record straight on her relationship status after John Mayer outing

Kat Stickler is letting fans know she’s single — despite those recent flirty date nights with John Mayer.

The influencer shared the relationship status update via TikTok on Tuesday, posting a playful video where a friend asked her if she is seeing anyone romantically.

Stickler confirmed she is single, quipping that her bob haircut is a sign that she isn’t seeing anyone and is still healing from a previous relationship.

“I cut all of my hair off out of the blue one day. You think I just did that for no reason?” she joked.

“This was a cry for help. This was a telltale sign of a relationship gone bad.”

The TikTok star chopped her hair earlier this month, before romance rumors began circulating between her and Mayer. She was seemingly referring to a former relationship in her latest video.

As Page Six previously reported, Mayer, 47, and Stickler, 30, were seen at a private members-only club in New York City last Friday, per Deuxmoi.

An eyewitness told the outlet that it was “definitely a first date, maybe a second date,” noting that the duo “sat on the same side of the booth” and were “very touchy.”

They appeared to hit it off, as they were photographed having dinner together and looking giddy the following night at Flyfish Club, another members-only establishment.

A source later told Us Weekly that the romance is “still very new” and that the musician is the one who “sought her out.”

“He has been actively pursuing her, inviting her places and texting her often,” the source claimed, noting that it doesn’t appear to be a “serious relationship.”

However, newly single Stickler “thought it would be fun to date again,” the source added, and is open to “seeing where it goes.”

The outlet’s source explained that Stickler “just broke up with someone she had been dating for a few months.”

She also had a date night with a mystery man just days before her outing with Mayer. She posted a sneaky pic of a man from the chin down via her TikTok page on Sept. 28.

Fans in the comments section of her post speculated that the unnamed gentleman was the Grammy winner, writing, “So this is John Mayer,” and, “John Mayer — damn girl. I just heard the tea.”

Stickler’s last public relationship was with Bachelor Nation’s Jason Tartick. The pair dated for about six months last year. She also shares daughter MK with ex-husband Mike Stickler.

As for Mayer, he has had a slew of high profile relationships over the years, with stars like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Minka Kelly, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
