Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s former LA home asks $13.49M
A Los Angeles home formerly owned by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell has listed for $13.49 million.
Hawn and Russell bought the Pacific Palisades dwelling in 2005 for $4.1 million and sold it to the current owners for $6.9 million in 2017, according to records.
The Hollywood couple are a blended family who share four children — Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, Boston Russell and the son they had together, Wyatt Russell — plus eight grandchildren. They currently divide their time between Aspen and Malibu.
Hawn, who won Oscars for her roles in “Cactus Flower” and “Private Benjamin,” also starred with Russell in films like “Overboard.” Russell’s other films include “Escape From New York,” “Tombstone” and “The Hateful Eight.”
Hawn recently shared a touching tribute to her friend and “The First Wives Club” co-star Diane Keaton, who died at age 79 last Saturday.
“Diane, we aren’t ready to lose you. You’ve left us with a trail of fairy dust, filled with particles of light and memories beyond imagination … There was, and will be, no one like you.”
Their former home is a gated, Georgian-style, traditional home with elegant columns and an ivy-covered facade, at 1417 Capri Drive. A long brick pathway, surrounded by a manicured lawn and mature trees, leads to the front door.
At around 6,400 square feet, the offering features five bedrooms, five baths and four fireplaces. One of the bedrooms has been converted into a temperature-controlled wine room.
Built in 1951, the residence opens to a foyer that leads to a formal dining room on the left and a living room with a fireplace on the right. There are also large skylights in the den and in the kitchen.
A main bedroom boasts a custom walk-in closet and an ensuite bath with a sauna. There’s also a bonus room that can convert into a home office or a sitting room with access to the backyard.
Outside, there’s a pool, an outdoor kitchen, multiple fire pits and plenty of outdoor entertaining areas, along with a putting green — all on .4 acres. When Hawn and Russell owned the home, a meditation hut stood by the pool.
