Trump touches down in Israel — as Netanyahu greets commander in chief
President Trump has landed in Israel to oversee the historic hostage exchange after brokering a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas that put an end to the bloody two-year-long conflict.
Trump touched down at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv at about 9:43 a.m. local time Monday morning, stepping off his plane to a red-carpet reception on the outskirts of Lod.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara were seen with Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner at the airport ahead of the president’s arrival.
His arrival comes as seven freed hostages were seen crossing over into Israel.
