Kurt Warner hops on X to scold the Jets while calling the game
Kurt Warner didn’t hold back during — or after — the Jets’ ugly, 13-11, loss to the Broncos Sunday in London.
The former Super Bowl champion quarterback, who was calling the game for NFL Network alongside Rich Eisen, turned to X mid-game to share his confusion about Gang Green.
“Somebody please explain that last Jets drive??? Not really sure what I just watched!” Warner wrote.
After the game concluded, he added, “Go figure I would get the game with No Forward Passes!!!!”
Warner was shocked over the Jets’ sequence in the final two minutes for before halftime, while trailing,10-6, to the Broncos.
The Jets were facing a fourth-and-1 and were in punt formation, but running back Breece Hall took the snap and snuck forward for the first down.
They were unable to capitalize on the conversion as the clock ran out.
“Oh, they’re going to run it,” Eisen said. “There’s Breece Hall, just a couple yards. [Jets head coach] Aaron Glenn is screaming at everybody to get on the ball. Kurt Warner’s hair is on fire in this booth!”
Warner replied, “I’m not normally speechless, but I’m trying to figure this out.”
Jets quarterback Justin Fields then was sacked on second down and they let the clock run out.
“You can’t be speechless, Kurt, right? … Your inner monologue, I want to hear it,” Eisen said.
“To me, after the sack, you let the Broncos call their last timeout in that situation, and then you decide what you’re going to do on third down,” Warner replied.

Eisen brought up how the crowd was roaring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“The Brits are wondering what is happening in London, and so are the American announcers,” Eisen said.
Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson appeared frustrated while talking with Glenn as the team headed to the locker room at halftime.
Fields couldn’t get the offense going and was sacked nine times against a powerful Denver defense.
He completed 9-of-17 passes for just 45 yards.
The Jets (0-6) will enter Week 7 as the NFL’s only winless team, and they’ll host the Panthers (3-3) at MetLife Stadium.
