Chris O’Donnell’s Captain Don Hart will be lead the 113 as they respond to emergencies all around Music City. And in case the NCIS: Los Angeles star hasn’t convinced you to tune in, 9-1-1: Nashville‘s stacked cast also includes Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and more fresh and familiar faces.
Capshaw plays Blythe Hart, Don’s wife and mother to Michael Provost’s Ryan Hart, a firefighter/modern-day cowboy. Working in the firehouse alongside the Hart boys is Hailey Kilgore’s Taylor, a firefighter and singer. Hunter McVey stars as Blue, a bad boy-turned-firefighter. And Juani Feliz plays Roxie, a former trauma surgeon.
Per ABC’s official 9-1-1: Nashville premiere synopsis, here’s what to else expect from the spin-off’s first episode: “When a powerful tornado tears through Nashville and endangers a country music festival, Captain Don Hart leads fire station 113 on a harrowing rescue mission. Meanwhile, the Hart family contends with the fallout when a long-held secret is revealed.”
Outside of Station 113, country singer Rimes stars as Blue’s mom, Dixie Bennings. And former Nashville star Williams-Paisley plays 911 dispatcher Cammie Raleigh, who’s also Blythe’s sister-in-law. 9-1-1: Nashville‘s creative team confirmed that music will play a significant role in the new series, and we know country singer Kane Brown is set to appear in the series premiere. Other reported stars set to recur include Virgin River‘s Tim Matheson, The Righteous Gemstones’ Gregory Alan Williams, and Hell on Wheels star MacKenzie Porter. Phew!
