Cam Newton welcomes 9th child, his 2nd with girlfriend Jasmin Brown
Cam Newton’s ninth child has arrived.
The NFL player revealed that he had become a dad for the ninth time in an upcoming episode of “The Tamron Hall Show” after being asked about the pregnancy.
“So we’re expecting your ninth baby?” host Tamron Hall asks him in a clip obtained by Us Weekly on Wednesday.
“Oh, he’s already here,” Newton responds as the crowd erupts into applause.
The infant is Newton’s second baby with his girlfriend, Jasmin Brown. They have yet to reveal the baby’s gender or name, and have not addressed the birth on social media.
The comedian, 36, announced her pregnancy news with an Instagram bump debut in May.
“Feeling ALL the Love, kicks and elbows 🤣🥰,” Brown wrote at the time. “cheers to our growing tribe. #happymothersday.”
She welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in March 2024, with the couple keeping the 1-year-old’s name and face private.
Additionally, Newton co-parents older kids with exes Kia Proctor and La Reina Shaw — which Brown poked fun at after they conceived their now-toddler.
“Third times (sic) a charm,” she wrote in 2023, referring to herself as “Baby Momma 3.”
Newton, notably, became a dad in 2015 when his and Proctor’s son Chosen, now 9, was born.
The former couple went on to welcome Sovereign-Dior, 8, Camidas, 7, and Cashmere, 4.
The duo split when the ex-athlete fathered son Caesar, 6, with Shaw.
Proctor and Shaw each have a child from a previous relationship — daughter Shakira, 18, and son Jaden, 19, respectively — whom Newton considers his own.
“I proudly say I have 8 children. Six biologically through me,” the former quarterback told “Club Shay Shay” viewers last year, explaining that he doesn’t “believe in stepchildren.”
He continued, “What my biological kids get, everybody gets. I don’t have no favorites. I’m raising kings and queens.”
Newton began dating Brown in 2021, saying on his “Funky Friday” podcast two years later that he and the actress are “in tune.”
In the 2023 episode, he gushed, “There’s nothing we can’t talk about. I think that’s what’s most important. There’s no hiding. Nothing.”
