Giants receivers let Jaxson Dart down with dreadful showing

NEW ORLEANS — The weakness was already a glaring one.

And now, after the Giants’ 26-14 loss to the previously winless Saints on Sunday at the Superdome, that weakness has gone from glaring to blinding.

With dynamic second-year receiver Malik Nabers, the Giants’ most dangerous offensive threat, out for the season with the ACL tear he suffered last week, the spotlight was going to shine on their other receivers.

What could they do to pick up the slack from the missing big-play ability of Nabers and to help lift Jaxson Dart, the team’s rookie quarterback making his first NFL start on the road?
