Cold Open
Colin Jost portrayed the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, addressing a room full of military officials.
While claiming that only “hot, shredded, hairless men, who are definitely not gay” should enlist, Hegseth was interrupted by James Austin Johnson as President Trump.
Trump joked about “keeping an eye on SNL” and the poem he allegedly wrote for Jeffrey Epstein.
Opening Monologue
Bad Bunny poked fun at his dance skills before being interrupted by Hamm, 54, showing off his own moves in the audience.
He then joked that “everyone is happy” about his upcoming Super Bowl performance, “even Fox News.”
The “Dakiti” singer then spoke briefly in Spanish before adding that viewers have four months to learn the language if they didn’t understand what he said.
The Donor
Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman portrayed a couple asking their friend, played by Andrew Dismukes, to be a sperm donor during a dinner at a restaurant.
A stranger named Elviro Guitterez (Bad Bunny), who was sitting on a nearby table, unexpectedly jumped into the conversation to offer himself as the donor.
Another stranger, played by Kenan Thompson, also suddenly chimed in on the discussion.
KPop Demon Hunters
Bad Bunny starred as a Kpop Demon Hunters fan, who is trying to convince a group of adult friends that the hit movie isn’t just for children.
“You silly, stupid man, you think it’s just a movie,” he said. “It says at the beginning, based on a true story.”
Jeopardy with Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny played a game show contestant who, after repeatedly failing to understand the rules, ended up winning Jeopardy.
“I’m sorry, I just don’t understand this game,” he said. “Who is the what? What is the who?”
Parent Teacher Conference
Bad Bunny played a “hot dad” who is called into a parent-teacher conference due to his son’s (played by Marcello Hernández) concerning artwork.
A flirtatious teacher is eager to overlook that the drawings show her being killed as she swoons over the father and tries to arrange to see him outside of work.
“Look to me, these drawings, pictures, are to me like he’s trying to express himself,” the dad said.
Inventing Spanish
Bad Bunny, Marcello Hernández, Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, James Austin Johnson and Andrew Dismukes played a group of men inventing the Spanish language.
Benicio del Toro made an unexpected appearance to joke about rolling “R” in words, saying, “What if the letter ‘R’ lasted a really long time? Like errrrre.”
He won approval from the group by also suggesting the invention of a siesta.
Doja Cat’s “AAAHH MEN!”
Doja Cat’s first musical performance saw her sing “AAAHH MEN!” off her recently released album.
For the performance, the rapper embraced the fashion of the ’80s with a leopard print and lace outfit.

Weekend Update
Jost and Che poked fun at various current events during the Weekend Update segment, including the Government Shut Down and Trump’s plans for peace in Gaza.
They also reacted to Bad Bunny being named the Super Bowl performer and the FDA’s approval of a generic abortion pill.
The Weekend Update included a mention of J.K. Rowling’s views on transgender people and the introduction of an AI-generated actress.
El Chavo Del Ocho
Bad Bunny recreated his “favorite” childhood show, El Chavo Del Ocho, alongside the cast of SNL.
The original sitcom debuted in the early 1970s, following the adventures of an orphan.
Doja Cat’s “Gorgeous”
Doja Cat returned to Studio 8H for a performance of “Gorgeous” after changing into a sequin-embellished red and pink dress.
She sat inside a giant rose as red smoke filled the floor underneath her feet.
ChatGPTío
The cast starred in an advert mocking ChatGPT, showing users being advised on everything from fashion to company logos.
“Sometimes it can be a little too friendly and helpful. Some users want a more authentic experience, more direct, more opinionated, more real,” the salesperson said, before describing their alternative app as like having the “unfiltered opinions of a middle-aged Latino uncle at your fingertips.”
SNL — which won 15 Emmys this year for its milestone 50th season and the 50th anniversary special — will then see series alum Amy Poehler as host with musical guest Role Model on Oct. 11.
Viewers will then get a double dose of Sabrina Carpenter on the Oct. 18 episode, as the singer will pull double duty as both host and musical guest.
Saturday Night Live airs weekends on NBC.
