Eric Stonestreet and his TV daughter Aubrey Anderson-Emmons had a sweet reunion in his hometown!
The Modern Family stars spent time together in Kansas City, Mo., and shared their reunion on Instagram on Friday, Oct. 3.
The post began with a video of the former costars reenacting a famous scene from the hit series. In the series, Stonestreet, 54, played Cameron Tucker, father of Anderson-Emmons’ Lily Tucker-Pritchett.

They recreated a scene from the 12th episode of season 4, “Party Crasher,” in which the two playfully tease each other, “You’re always silly.” The scene ends with Cam accidentally pushing Lily off her chair.
The pair also included two photos of themselves, smiling for the camera.
The Instagram carousel concluded with another fun video, this time showing Anderson-Emmons, 18, smiling as Stonestreet excitedly drove her around in an ATV.

“Someone came to Missouri and saw ‘fun daddy,’ ” Stonestreet wrote in the caption, where he tagged Anderson-Emmons and his onscreen husband, Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
“So good to see u!!❤️,” Anderson-Emmons wrote in the comment section.
“WHY WASN’T I INVITED? ARE YOU DOING A REBOOT /REUNION/ SPIN OFF WITH OUT ME?!” Ferguson, 49, jokingly replied.
The adorable reunion follows Stonestreet’s cheeky comment about Ferguson, Julie Bowen and Ed O’Neill’s reunion on Monday, Sept. 29. Ferguson played Mitch Pritchett, Bowen, 55, played his on-screen sister Claire Dunphy, and O’Neill, 79, starred as the family patriarch, Jay Pritchett.
The trio attended a birthday party for Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita at Wheelhouse in West Hollywood, Calif. “The Pritchetts Sept 27 2025,” Ferguson simply captioned the sweet Instagram post.
Stonestreet shared some playful concerns about why he and some of his other former costars were missing from the get-together.
“Where is Sofia [Vargara, who played Gloria Ramirez Delgado Pritchett]? Where is Ty [Burrell, who played Phil Dunphy]? Did he die again!? Where is Ariel [Winter, who played Alex Dunphy]? Sarah [Hyland, who played Haley Dunphy]! Rico [Rodriguez, who played Manny Delgado]!? Nolan [Gould, who played Luke Dunphy]!?! Aubrey?!”

“Is there drama behind the scenes?” Stonestreet continued. “Are you all fighting!? Do you hate each other now? Wait. Where am I!? Why am I not there!? Did I snub you!? Did you snub me!? There MUST be SOMETHING going on!”
His caption seemingly referenced a November 2023 reunion, which Burrell was unable to attend.

Since the series wrapped after 11 seasons in 2020, the cast has remained close with frequent reunions.
The group has shared insight into their close friendships, with Stonestreet telling PEOPLE in January that they “are such a close unit.”
“We all are in communication with each other,” he said. “We all love each other. It was no doubt from the beginning of that,”
“This is dark and macabre, but I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I have a whole lot of new people that I’m going to grow old with and know for the rest of my life,’” he shared, emphasizing that he realized early on how powerful the bond was.
