Attorneys for Sean “Diddy” Combs have released a video they plan to play in court at his sentencing on Friday, Oct. 3, in an apparent bid to portray him in a positive light.

Prosecutors have asked Combs get 11 years for his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was convicted in July, following a weeks-long, high-profile trial where he was acquitted of the more severe charges of racketeering and sex-trafficking.

After a trial featuring allegations of sexual, physical and psychological abuse, a Manhattan judge Friday will see a video portraying Combs the way he wants to be seen: a successful musician who spends time with his children and gives motivational talks to schoolchildren.

In a 12-minute video montage produced by his team, Combs is seen giving talks at schools, sharing laughs with children, running a marathon and spending time with his own kids.

The video opens with two of his friends praising him for what he has given his community.

“What you’ve given to the world, I don’t think you know it, man,” the friend says, later adding: “Know that you mean something to people, like you live somewhere in people’s hearts.”

The video wraps up with Combs’ seven children, in separate clips, sending him messages of encouragement or saying “I love you,” to him into the camera.

His mother, six adult children, and their mothers were present in court on Friday.
