Taylor Swift is offering some insight into her life with fiancé Travis Kelce.

The pop superstar, 35, appeared on BBC Radio 1 to chat with host Greg James about her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Friday, Oct. 3 and opened up about how the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, supported her through the creative process — and how Swift’s male friends feel about him.

The Grammy winner recalled making The Life of a Showgirl with producers Max Martin and Shellback in Sweden during breaks from the European leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour. “As soon as I’d come back from Sweden I’d just play it for him, and I knew that this was the kind of album he was going to love the most,” she said of Kelce.

Swift added, “He’s so supportive of all of it, but he’s a real vibes guy.”

James, who’s interviewed the “Karma” singer many times over the years, spoke about how he’s not yet met Kelce and would like to play a game of catch with him. “He would do that. You’ll love that,” she replied.

“All of my guy friends are like, ‘I just want Travis to pick me up and throw me over the roof, or throw me in the pool.’ ‘Cause it’s like, you know he’s 6’6”, but it’s also the width of the shoulders,” explained Swift. “Seeing him walk through a door is genuinely a privilege.”

The “Cruel Summer” performer sings about Kelce across several tracks on The Life of a Showgirl, including opening track “The Fate of Ophelia” and the sexy, double-entendre-filled “Wood.”

The NFL player’s favorite track on the album, according to Swift, is “Opalite,” she revealed in another interview with Capital FM. “He loves that one,” she said.

“Opal can be man-made just like diamonds, and Travis’ birthstone is an opal. I’ve always fixated on that,” detailed Swift. “I’ve always loved that stone, and I thought it was a kind of a cool metaphor that it’s a man-made opal, and happiness can also be man-made, too.”

In the track-by-track version of the album on Amazon Music, she called “Opalite” one of her “favorite songs” on The Life of a Showgirl — as well as “an expression of happiness.”

“The song itself is about choosing happiness, and getting through rough times, adversity, and really choosing your own joy and your own sort of path to joy,” she said. “It didn’t just happen accidentally to you.”
