Jaden Smith is bringing team spirit vibes to fashion week.

On Thursday, Oct. 2, the musician and actor, 27, stepped out for Paris Fashion Week to attend the Spring/Summer 2026 Christian Louboutin fashion show, and his look was bold enough to turn heads.

Photos taken of the star show him rocking a football-inspired look that was all red. On top, Smith wore shoulder pads over a sleeveless shirt. For bottoms, he wore jeans in the same eye-catching shade.

He accessorized with a cap worn backwards, fingerless gloves and statement jewelry on his pants and around his neck.

Although, the most surprising part of Smith’s look was the makeup, which consisted of red face paint up to his chin. The move appeared to be a nod to Christian Louboutin’s sports-themed event, as well as Smith’s appointment at the house, which was announced alongside a photo of him covered in paint in the hue of the house’s signature color (the same image was used as the cover art for Smith’s latest musical project, 2025: A Surrealist Ball or Elephants Reflecting Swans).

Smith made the shocking move to step into the role as Christian Louboutin’s men’s creative director in September.

A press release shared at the time stated that the “Icon” singer (who is the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith) will “oversee the creation of four collections annually across men’s shoes, leather goods, and accessories,” in addition to helping develop the brand’s visual and emotional identity across marketing campaigns, corresponding events and experiences.

The partnership comes amid Smith and Louboutin’s six-year partnership, which stemmed from a chance encounter in Paris.

“When I first met Jaden, I saw in him a natural fit for the Maison. His world is rich and multidimensional, his style and cultural sensibility are inspiring and his curiosity and openness are remarkable,” Christian Louboutin said in a press release about the actor’s appointment.

“Merging my vision with Christian’s comes quite naturally because we see the world in a very similar way. There’s a shared respect for creative freedom, and I think that’s why it works. I want to continue the story, honoring the past while shaping the future through my own perspective,” Smith said.

The Karate Kid star has been positioning himself in the fashion industry for his cool and experimental looks for years, but he gained particular recognization back in February when he attended the 2025 Grammys in a black Louis Vuitton suit and a $4,500 house-shaped headwear piece by Abodi.

In addition to making fashion statements on the red carpet, Smith also founded MSFTS, a streetwear brand, with his sister, Willow Smith.
