Camilla Luddington Is ‘Ready to Go’ to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Grey’s Anatomy star Camilla Luddington is campaigning for a spot on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding guest list.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress, 41, said she’s “gonna own” being a “major Swiftie” — one who isn’t shy to ask for a wedding invitation from the singer-songwriter and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35.

After being asked if she’s “trying to score an invite to the wedding,” Luddington confidently answered, “Yep.”

“I made a really tragic video of me waiting by the mailbox,” Luddington said, referring to her viral video of herself waiting by her mailbox with a glass of champagne and party noisemaker. The half a million viewed video was captioned “THIS IS NOT A DRILL” and shared to TikTok on Aug. 26, the same day Swift and Kelce announced their engagement.

“Taylor, any time you want to send that, I’m ready to go,” Luddington continued to ET.

The interview was posted a day before the release of Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl. At the time, Luddington said she was “so excited” to hear the new songs.

“I think my husband [Matthew Alan] is gonna need to, like, take a month nap. Because me and my daughter [Hayden], that’s all we’re going to be listening to. I’m so excited,” said Luddington, who attended one of Swift’s Eras Tour shows last year. “I’m one of those Swifties that’s, like, online, like trying to figure out the Easter eggs. I’m like full conspiracy theory in. So I want all my little theories to be answered.”

Back in June 2024, Luddington shared that one song by Swift helped her through her Grey’s Anatomy domestic abuse storyline.

Luddington has starred as Jo Wilson on the hit ABC medical drama since 2012. In season 14, Jo came face-to-face with her estranged husband Paul (Matthew Morrison), who returned to Grey Sloan Memorial after it came to light that he had abused Jo. At the hospital, Jo tried to help his fiancée Jenny (Bethany Joy Lenz) escape from Paul.

While on her and Jessica Capshaw’s Call It What It Is podcast, Luddington revealed that she listened to Swift’s song “Clean” while filming her character’s domestic abuse storyline.

“I listened to ‘Clean’ while I was doing [the] episode with Paul, her husband,” Luddington told her former costar Capshaw while answering a fan’s question about filming ritual. “It was like this song that just got me in this place.”

“Clean,” which was featured on Swift’s 2014 album 1989, includes the lyrics, “The rain came pouring down/When I was drownin’, that’s when I could finally breathe/And by mornin’/Gone was any trace of you, I think I am finally clean.”
