Tommy Egan is getting ready to take his final bow.
On Thursday, Oct. 2, Starz released the trailer for the upcoming third and final season of Power Book IV: Force, the Power spinoff that followed Joseph Sikora‘s Tommy as he cut ties in New York and made a new home for himself in Chicago.
“It’s time for you to be baptized into this life, just like Kanan did for me and Ghost,” Tommy said as the trailer began, referencing his sordid history with Kanan Stark (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) and his best friend Ghost (Omari Hardwick).
“Who?” Darnell (Lucien Cambric) asked, and Tommy brushed him off. “Eh, it’s a story for a different time.”
This season, there’s a “street war” taking over the city, and there’s fear that Tommy is gonna “blow all this s— up.”

Diamond (Isaac Keys) has his back as his partner, but even he can’t deny that Tommy is “the reason motherf—— [are] getting shot.”
As Tommy puts it, he’s the “Santa Claus of powder.”
Vic (Shane Harper), meanwhile, wants out, and Tommy, who’s now a “lone wolf,” is not going to let anyone stop him from getting what he wants.
“I will burn that motherf—- coalition to the ground before I let them take it from me,” he threatens in the trailer.
“Don’t burn it down — take it back,” Mireya (Carmela Zumbado) instead suggests to Tommy.

As the explosive trailer ends, Mireya tells Tommy she knows “what life I’m signing up for” being with him, as she promises, “I’ll be waiting for you.”
“This [is] gonna be the battle of our f— life,” Tommy teases.
Per the official synopsis, Tommy’s “relentless ambition to dominate Chicago’s drug game comes at a high cost” in season 3.
“In order to claim the throne as kingpin, he must navigate an ever-evolving dynamic with his business partner, Diamond, and a contentious relationship with Diamond’s brother, Jenard. As pressure mounts from the coalition, the Feds, Miguel’s crew and the Marquez Cartel, Tommy must find a way to protect his family and those he loves, including Mireya.”
