Taylor Swift to Go on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ for Full Episode ‘TAY/kover’

It’s time for Taylor Swift‘s return to Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The pop superstar, 35, is set to appear as the sole guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers for a full episode “TAY/kover” on Wednesday, Oct. 8 to promote her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Meyers, 51, made the announcement via social media on Sept. 29. He shared a video of himself wearing an orange cardigan from Swift’s merchandise store while drinking from a light blue mug.

“Oh, hey. What’s up?” asked the SNL alum in the video, setting the mug down on his desk to reveal “TAY/kover 10.08.25” printed on it — as Swift’s “Ready for It?” started playing.

“Sipping coffee like you’re on a late night show,” read the post’s caption, a reference to the lyrics of Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).”

The Grammy winner’s Late Night appearance will come less than a week after The Life of a Showgirl comes out on Friday, Oct. 3. According to a press release, the entire episode will be a sit-down conversation between Meyers and Swift, who previously appeared on the show in 2014 and 2021.

Late Night with Seth Meyers airs 12:35 a.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams next day on Peacock.

Swift shared her promotional schedule for The Life of a Showgirl release week on Monday, Sept. 29. Upon the album’s release at midnight on Oct. 3, fans can go to Target to purchase an exclusive “The Crowd Is Your King” record pressed on “summertime spritz pink shimmer vinyl.”

Starting at 3 p.m. ET the same day, fans can head to movie theaters to watch The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, which features the world premiere of her “The Fate of Ophelia” music video as well as behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos from the album and “cut by cut explanations” of what inspired the music,” she previously revealed on Instagram.

The “Karma” singer will then appear on The Graham Norton Show, which airs at 5:40 p.m. ET on Oct. 3. Over the weekend, fans can still catch The Official Release Party of a Showgirl — and there’s a slot on Swift’s promotional schedule to “standby” for forthcoming news on Oct. 4.

The music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” as well as lyric videos for the album’s other songs will premiere on YouTube at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Swift will also serve as a guest on the Monday, Oct. 6 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
