The lawyer, 47, stepped out with husband George Clooney, 64, for the New York Film Festival premiere of his latest movie, Jay Kelly, on Monday, Sept. 29. For the occasion, Amal went flirty in a minidress that showcased her toned legs, arms and shoulders.
The dress, part of Oscar de la Renta’s fall/winter 2025 ready-to-wear collection, featured a deep red velvet strapless cut with subtle ruching around the bust. The skirt of the dress was completely covered in three-dimensional, red poppy flowers that bloomed outward to mimic real petals.

Despite the lush elements of the Oscar de la Renta dress, Amal’s legs were the star of the show — she completed the look with her frequently worn Gianvito Rossi Plexi pumps and added Cartier jewels and a red velvet evening bag. Her highlighted brunette hair fell past her shoulders in shiny, voluminous waves.
George, meanwhile, hit the carpet for the evening in a navy blue suit with a pale blue button-down shirt and black leather shoes.

The lawyer has recently shown an appreciation for mini hemlines. At the 82nd annual Venice International Film Festival on Aug. 28, Amal sported a deep magenta gown with not one, but two hem lengths for the red carpet premiere of Jay Kelly.
The gown, a Jean-Louis Scherrer by Erik Mortensen design from the brand’s autumn/winter 1995-96 collection, primarily consisted of a ruched strapless taffeta minidress accessorized with button details. Though the minidress hit Amal just below her hips, the bottom of the gown featured a long, billowing train that trailed elegantly behind her as she walked the red carpet.

She finished the glam look with Aquazzura T-strap heels in gold and a gold Jimmy Choo clutch. Her Cartier jewelry for the evening was also gold and consisted of an unreleased Panthère de Cartier earrings and a Grain de Cafe ring, Vogue reported at the time.
Amal, however, does not mind opting for full-length looks when appropriate and even wore a near-ankle-length dress before hitting the red carpet at the festival.

As she and George made their way to Venice for the festival proceedings, she opted for a waist-cinching, butter yellow Balmain dress and completed the outfit with Balmain’s white Ebene bag and Prada slingback heels.
