Russell Crowe showed off his slimmer figure at the Zurich Film Festival.

The actor, 61, took the stage at the festival in Switzerland on Saturday, Sept. 27, to accept the Golden Eye Award for Lifetime Achievement during a screening for his movie Nuremberg. The Gladiator star wore a classic navy blue suit and green patterned tie for the occasion.

Crowe previously revealed his trimmer physique while stepping out to Wimbledon on July 1 with his girlfriend, Britney Theriot. The pair smiled and clapped as they watched the on-court action from the stands at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Crowe and 32-year-old Theriot — a former actress who now works in real estate — have been dating since 2020 after reportedly first meeting on the set of Broken City in 2013. The two seemingly enjoy being active as a couple, as they have been photographed several times playing tennis and riding bikes together.

Last month, Crowe and Theriot made a rare red carpet appearance together at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Nuremberg, where the movie’s cast was greeted with a standing ovation. The actor posed for photos with his arm around Theriot’s waist.

Crowe is garnering Oscars buzz for his portrayal of Hermann Göring in the historical courtroom drama Nuremberg, which “chronicles the true story of the eponymous trials held by the Allies against the defeated Nazi regime,” per an official synopsis.

“The film centers on American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek), who is tasked with determining whether Nazi prisoners are fit to stand trial for their war crimes and finds himself in a complex battle of wits with Hermann Göring, Hitler’s right-hand man,” the synopsis adds.

The movie also stars Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Colin Hanks and Mark O’Brien.

As he accepted the Lifetime Achievement award in Zurich on Saturday, Crowe spoke to the audience about how he always keeps viewers’ “expectations” in mind when stepping into a new acting role.

“Ultimately, when I go to work, I take your expectations as an audience with me because I want to touch your heart. I want to open your mind. I want to thrill you. I want to scare you. I want to confront you. I want to make you cry, and I want to make you laugh,” he said.

Nuremberg will be released in theaters nationwide on Nov. 7, ahead of the 80th anniversary of the trials.
