Here’s the scoop on Chipotle’s latest sauce.

The fast-casual Mexican chain’s brand-new Red Chimichurri will be available starting Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The limited-time menu item will be made in-restaurant daily, according to a press release. The oil-based sauce is a “new take” on a classic chimichurri and is made with roasted garlic, fresh cilantro, chili peppers and citrus juice. The vibrant red sauce is ready to be drizzled on any entrée and meant to build off the success of the Adobo Ranch introduced earlier this summer

Rewards members can score a free side of Red Chimichurri with the purchase of an entrée on its launch day, Sept. 30.

PEOPLE got a first-taste of the sauce and, spoiler alert, we couldn’t get enough. The chimichurri is zippy, spicy and “oh-so craveable,” testers complimented. They compared the sauce to a Mexican chili crisp or salsa macha, making it a nice addition to the current lineup of salsas and dips.

Earlier this month, the fast food spot brought back Carne Asada for a limited time.

The protein—which is fresh grilled steak marinated in a blend of cumin, coriander, garlic and oregano, topped with fresh lime and cilantro— is the brand’s “most-searched menu item,” according to a press release.

Since being first introduced in 2019, Carne Asada’s 2025 return marks its fourth reappearance on Chipotle menus since its debut.

Chipotle is looking at food holidays but Burger King has already set its sight on Halloween.

The burger joint will have six exclusive toys inspired by Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. Gang, according to a press release obtained by PEOPLE. Each of the characters’ figures comes with a disguise mask in honor of their villain-revealing adventures.

The toys, which are available in King Jr. Meals, are available nationwide as of Sept. 16.
