Paris Hilton has found kindred spirits through the Fanning sisters.
The multi-hyphenate star, 44, is working with Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning to turn her memoir, Paris: The Memoir, into a TV series. A24 acquired the rights to the project on the siblings’ behalf in 2023.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Hilton says, “I love Elle and Dakota — they’re so talented, kind, beautiful and lovely – so it’s been a dream to be working with them and creating this series together.”
“The show is going to be fantastic. It’s so entertaining, and it’s just so surreal to me that I now have a whole TV series based on my life story. That’s so iconic,” the mother of two adds.

Hilton’s 2023 memoir details many moments, both high and low, from her iconic life in the spotlight, including her most memorable parties and favorite fashion moments, as well as her leaked sex tape and her IVF journey.
The critically acclaimed and New York Times best-selling book was released in March 2023, and months later, in October, Variety reported the related television series was in the works.

Dakota, 31, and Elle, 27, recently told Vanity Fair they met with Hilton in her home to discuss the TV adaptation. (Hilton first met Dakota while filming a cameo for The Cat in the Hat back in 2003.)
In a statement to the publication about the Fanning sisters’ involvement, Hilton said watching the pair “grow into such talented, grounded, and inspiring women has been a full-circle moment.”
“They grew up watching my career unfold, so they understand both the cultural impact and the personal journey behind it,” added the star. “They see beyond the catchphrases and sparkle.”
However, Hilton did not reveal specific casting choices — including whether one of the Fanning sisters will play her, and if the other will potentially play her sister, Nicky Hilton.
