Lola Young is sharing an update about her health, shortly after she collapsed onstage during a New York City music festival.
The British singer, 24, said in an Instagram Stories post on Saturday, Sept. 27, that she’s “doing OK” after she fell to the ground in the middle of performing her song “Conceited” at the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday.
“Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now,” she wrote, less than an hour after her health scare. “Thank you for all of your support, Lola xxx.”
Video footage from the incident showed Young being carried off the stage by medical team staff, as audience members cheered in support.
The musician has not shared exactly what happened.
Representatives for Young and the All Things Go Music Festival did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Sept. 27.
Just one day before the onstage incident, Young canceled her appearance at Audacy’s We Can Survive concert on Friday, Sept. 26.

In a statement shared on Instagram Stories, Young’s manager, Nick Shymansky, wrote that the singer had to pull out from the performance “due to a sensitive matter.”
Young is best known for her 2024 hit “Messy.” She has released three albums — 2023’s My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely, 2024’s This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway and I’m Only F—— Myself, which dropped on Sept. 19.

The musician has been candid about her health in the past. In an Instagram post in 2022, she opened up about her mental health and living with schizoaffective disorder, which she was diagnosed with at 17.
“I cant find the words to describe how much this diagnosis has affected my entire life, and my outlook on the world around me. I have struggled immensely learning to accept this part of myself, and I am still learning,” she wrote at the time.
Young added, “I have to remind myself that I am a regular f—— person, I am human and I am, like everyone, capable of incredible things, my mental health condition does not define me. It is my superpower,” and also said she goes through “crazy f—— highs and immense lows,” and that she was on medication to help with the symptoms.
In an interview with The Guardian published on Sept. 12, the singer-songwriter also spoke about her cocaine addiction, which she said she dealt with for “a long time.”
“It teaches you a lot, being addicted to substances,” she said candidly. “It makes you more empathetic about other people who have gone through that. It’s just a constant journey.”
