“Come on, Tennessee, we’ve got this,” she added.

Having filmed the first season of Scarpetta in Nashville, Kidman said she was “thrilled” to be starting production on season 2 of the crime series. She described Nashville as being a city that “inspires so much creativity.”

The Babygirl actress also revealed her favorite aspect of living in Music City during her panel appearance, before her 2003 movie Cold Mountain was screened for festival attendees.

“My favorite thing is the people,” she said. “I love the Nashville people because they embraced me two decades ago and they keep making it possible for our family to have the most beautiful life here.”

“Incredibly grateful,” she concluded.
