Which Rocky Horror Picture Show Character You Are, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Talk about a “Time Warp!”

The Rocky Horror Picture Show film premiered on Sept. 26, 1975, and has become an iconic cult classic since.

Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick danced and sang their way through the movie, changing our lives forever by encouraging us to drive safely in the rain and avoid the light “Over at the Frankenstein Place.”

Jupiter, the planet of infinite possibilities and philosophy, was in Aries when The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuted. Now, it’s in Cancer, creating an astrological aspect called a square, a 90-degree angle in the sky, between the two signs or planets.

This energy will preserve the movie’s relevance and allow us to have meaningful conversations about it, so we can maintain the memory of the movie’s importance on its 50th anniversary.

The film is undergoing its Chiron return in Aries. This once-in-a-lifetime cosmic event happens approximately every 50 years when the centaur Chiron returns to its home sign and degree, which is when the movie came out. The Chiron return offers reflection, which Tim Curry recently did in a rare interview, offering new insights and wisdom about The Rocky Horror Picture Show

To celebrate the commemorative milestone of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, we assigned the memorable characters to each zodiac sign. Find yours below!

Aries: Rocky Horror

Rocky is Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s “invention,” who is athletic and brawny, like Aries. Rocky channels his energy through his passions and sweetness, since he barely talks and mostly grunts. Aries is the firstborn of the zodiac, and Eddie is Frank-N-Furter’s only child, so he revels in lots of care and regard from the Transylvanians and Janet (except from Magenta and Riff Raff, who torment him, much to Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s annoyance).

Taurus: Brad Majors

At first, Brad is seen as the strong, traditional type, the energy Taurus exudes upon an initial meeting. His conventional ideology is challenged in the film. It takes a lot for the fixed Earth sign to change its philosophical outlook. If we look deeper at his character development, Brad becomes a parody of the hero because he survives a series of unique circumstances that catapult him into this role.

Gemini: Columbia

Columbia is always peeping on the activities of Janet and Brad with her bestie, Magenta, to get the tea. Because she’s always in the know, Columbia possesses the Mercurial attributes of Gemini. Like the Air sign, Columbia has two sides to her personality — on one hand, she is cool and aloof, while on the other, she shows fervor and emotion (seen through her meltdown over Dr. Frank-N-Furter loving Rocky more).

Cancer: Ralph Hapschatt

Janet and Brad attend Ralph and Betty’s wedding, where they become engaged. Ralph wants his home to be a haven, like the zodiac sign Cancer. However, Ralph has a smug attitude when talking to Brad. Perhaps he has a Fire sign Moon that gives off that bravado. In the follow-up, Shock Treatment, Ralph is an ego-driven reality show host, proving his lust for fame.

Leo: Dr. Frank-N-Furter

Enchanting the silver screen with charisma, style, flair and extravagance is Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Scene stealer Dr. Frank-N-Furter is a Leo because of his flamboyant fits, which suit every mood, and his need to constantly entertain guests. Dr. Frank-N-Furter craves attention and adoration from all, which is why he’s the leader of the alien group. Plus, like the Fire sign, Dr. Frank-N-Furter is extremely ambitious in creating the perfect human specimen.

Virgo: Betty Hapschatt

Virgo is the archetype of a pure bride, which is the character Betty plays at the beginning of the movie. Little is known about her personality until the sequel, Shock Treatment, where she stars in the lead role. Betty is an investigative journalist for a television show in Shock Treatment, a career that Virgos excel at due to their analytical abilities and need to search for the truth and justice.

Libra: Janet Weiss

Dammit, Janet, you are a Libra! Throughout the movie, one thing is sure: Janet wants to connect with others — whether it be her fiancé, Brad, or Rocky. Her tender heart and sweet nature align Janet with the romantic Air sign Libra. Also, Janet acts out when feeling off-balance, pushing her to flirt with Rocky as she breaks into singing the classic decadent and sensual bop “Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me.”

Scorpio: Riff Raff

Riff Raff is a sinister Transylvanian handyman who attempts to overthrow Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Scorpios are known for their power and are a force to be reckoned with. After a lifetime of abuse from his master, Riff Raff conspires to start a coup with Magenta, his sister. Message received: never underestimate a Scorpio, and definitely don’t take them for granted, or you’ll be sorry. A lesson reluctantly received by Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

Sagittarius: Magenta

Even though Magenta is the castle’s maid, she doesn’t let her job get in the way of asserting herself. Like Sagittariuses, Magenta is not afraid of anyone — including Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Magenta’s wit and fiery personality (like the color of her reddish-purple hair) allow her to dominate the film. In the form of the archer, she believes in free living and autonomy. Her punk rock attitude is Sagittarius through and through.

Capricorn: The Criminologist

The Criminologist is the narrator. He states the facts of matters — even gives a descriptive explanation of dancing, “It’s just a jump to the left / And then a step to the right / Put your hands on your hips / You bring your knees in tight.” Being that Capricorns are historians with a fun side to their aura, it adds up that the sea goat is representative of the Criminologist.

Aquarius: Dr. Everett V. Scott

Dr. Scott is a scientist and researcher of UFOs for the United States government. He is also Eddie’s uncle. Dr. Scott accidentally stumbles upon the castle when searching for Eddie, exposing him to aliens. Dr. Scott is also Janet and Brad’s mentor and former science teacher. Since Dr. Scott is enamored with extraterrestrials and innovation, assigning him to Aquarius, the zodiac sign associated with technology, outer space and unconventional thinking, makes sense.

Pisces: Eddie

As the ex-lover of Columbia and Dr. Frank-N-Furter, who meets his demise in the film’s beginning, Eddie is kept in the freezer before being murdered. Dr. Frank-N-Furter removed half of his brain out of spite and jealousy when Eddie began an affair with Columbia. Since Eddie is the innocent delivery boy with good intentions and musical inclinations, who was a part of a biker gang, he is an honorary Pisces
