It was a “dream” for Taika Waititi to direct Rita Ora.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the Thor: Ragnarok director opened up to The Independent about having the opportunity to direct his wife in her latest music video for “All Natural.”
“I’m not even sure I could call it work,” Waititi, 50, told the publication. “It’s literally pointing a camera at your best friend who happens to be criminally gorgeous and effortlessly talented.”

He added that working with Ora, 34, was “the easiest job in the world.”
Waititi claimed he wasn’t even “operating the camera.”

“I just told the guy where to point it. And all the while we got to listen to this absolute gem of a song. It’s actually a dream thing to do,” the filmmaker added.
“All Natural” was produced by Grammy-winning New Zealand producer, musician and songwriter Joel Little.
In a press release statement, the “Heat” singer said her latest single is “one of the most personal songs I’ve ever made.”

“For me, it’s about learning to love every side of yourself — the strong and the fragile, the light and the shadows,” she said. “Working with Joel was such a gift; he has this rare ability to take something deeply intimate and turn it into music that everyone can feel as their own.”
Added Ora, “This song is really about growth, healing, and self-discovery. My hope is that when people hear it, they connect with their own journey and feel seen in it.”
Waititi and Ora initially sparked dating rumors in 2021.
In August 2022, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple tied the knot during a “very small” ceremony, but the pair didn’t share the news publicly until January 2023.

“I’ve always wanted the fairytale, that’s what I grew up loving,” she said. “For me, it was always about that love, finding a partner, so I’m really happy I did.”
The title track of Ora’s 2023 album You & I is even inspired by their wedding day.
“My biggest supporter and advocate is Taika,” she told PEOPLE in July 2023.
