Lana Del Rey Celebrates First Wedding Anniversary with Jeremy Dufrene

Lana Del Rey is celebrating her first year of married life with Jeremy Dufrene.

The singer, 40, marked her one-year wedding anniversary with her husband, a swamp boat tour guide in Louisiana.

For the occasion, Del Rey posted a carousel of photos to Instagram, offering an intimate look at their wedding day.

The post kicked off with photos of Del Rey and Dufrene posing and kissing on an airboat. Next their wedding guests, including Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley, could be seen cheering for the newlyweds.

Del Rey also shared glimpses of their wedding cake — which was painted with a gold-framed cabin — and a photo of the married couple feeding each other pieces.

The carousel post additionally featured photos of a perfume bottle etched with “Love on the Bayou” and their wedding date “9.26.24,” and an assortment of antique silver serving pieces.

Del Rey — whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant — and Dufrene tied the knot in Des Allemandes, La. A source told PEOPLE at the time that “the wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boat tours.”

“This is where they first met,” the source added. “It’s a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed and family focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story.”

A source later told PEOPLE the couple’s relationship was something of a “whirlwind romance,” though Del Rey’s close friends were rooting for the relationship to turn serious.

“Jeremy is different from the men that Lana meets in the entertainment world,” they said. “He’s a great guy. He’s charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman, and he treats Lana really well. She’s an old soul.”

The pair’s history began in 2019, when Del Rey shared a photo of Dufrene on Facebook. Their romance became apparent in August 2024, when a Reddit user snapped a photo of them sharing lunch in London.

Since their relationship became public, they’ve been head over heels for each other. Del Rey recently shared a throwback photo from their wedding, in which she wore a lacy A-line gown to say “I do” to Dufrene, who wore a simple suit. The pair held hands at the altar as they looked at each other lovingly.

“May 12 angels guard you while you preach tonight,” the singer wrote in the caption, and tagged the officiant,  Judah Smith and his wife, Chelsea Smith.
