Costco is skipping through the calendar to Christmas in a big way, debuting its 2025 Advent calendar that’s 5 feet tall.
In a TikTok video shared by the account @costcofinds, content creator Laura Lamb held up the calendar to herself, which is just about as tall as her.
In the video, she opens a few of the 24 compartments, numbered for the 24 days of December, filled with an assortment of full-sized Lindt chocolates. Some of the treats she revealed were assorted truffles, sea salt and dark chocolate bars and Lindt’s gold Hollow Milk Chocolate Teddy Bear that comes in a special holiday sweater.

“I can’t believe this is real. It’s the most fun and delicious countdown to the holidays ever,” said Lamb, noting that the calendar will only be available in select warehouses. “I hope you spot yours before they’re gone.”
As for when they’re arriving in specific areas, Lamb included an alleged breakdown of release dates, claiming that Southeast locations will receive them near Sept. 15; Northwest locations can expect them around Sept. 20; Northeast stores will receive them around Sept. 25 and then San Diego on Sept. 29.
Costco did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment or confirmation on the release dates.
Commenters of the viral video, which has now garnered nearly 2 million views as of the time of this publication, seem to be split on whether it’s worth the $190 price tag, saying that it’s “$50 worth of chocolate $200 worth of cardboard.”
Chocolate isn’t the only way Costco members can count down to the jolliest time of the year. Earlier this month, the membership-only big-box retail store released its 2025 “Wine Advent-ure” Wine Advent Calendar.
According to the Costco Wine Blog, the 24-bottle box of half-sized bottles (375 ml) retails for $100 come includes an assortment of wines such as whites, reds and rosé, along with surprise inclusions like a sake and “chocolate red.”
For wine connoisseurs who are interested in details about each wine, there’s a website that includes more information, including the region of origin and a brief history, along with the best food pairings.
