All the Anthropologie Fashion Finds My Mom, Sister, and I Are Shopping
My sister, mom, and I all really put the “personal” in personal style.
My sister, a 30-something doctor, works in the office five days a week but lives in glamorous off-duty pieces on the weekend. My mom, on the other hand, is in her 60s and wears heels (including sneaker heels) and full glam whether she’s heading out on errands or to lunch with friends. Finally, there’s me, a fashion writer in her late 20s who loves minimalism, comfy clothes, and oversized pieces galore.
Despite all of these differences, Anthropologie is a go-to for us all. Below, take a look at the pieces on our fall wish lists — including a matching set I expect to see on my sister soon, my mom’s top dresses of the moment, and the silky pants I think look so designer-coded.

Anthropologie The Tilda Pull-On Wide-Leg Pants
Anthropologie
I just ruined my silk pants, so the first thing I’m eyeing is a similar pair. And everything about these looks so, so luxurious: The rich brown color looks like something I’d see on the Ralph Lauren runway, while the wide-leg fit borders between baggy and tailored for a comfy, yet flattering look. (I’m not a color person, but the red option is tempting for the holidays!)

“I’m loving this blue matching set for the holidays,” says my sister. “I’m thinking Thanksgiving, where there’s wiggle room for the food baby, but the mock neck and detailing still look very put together.” She also calls it, when combined with the matching skirt, the “perfect low-maintenance chic outfit” that could be styled with “sheer tights and heels or socks and loafers.” Plus, the sweater is also work-appropriate.
Afrm Long-Sleeve Off-The-Shoulder Mesh Maxi Dress
Anthropologie
I’m not surprised that my mom picked out something with polka dots because one of my favorite shirts with the print keeps disappearing, and I know she’s the culprit. So, of course, she vibed with what she calls the “fun” and “flirty” pattern on this “showstopper.” It also has an off-the-shoulder neckline, which leaves room for a chunky necklace — my mom’s signature. Oh, and there’s a bodysuit version, too.

My current fashion hyper-fixation is buttons, which this short-sleeve sweater has plenty of. It’s also a lot like one I once spotted on Olivia Rodrigo, but with more arm coverage, a personal preference of mine. It’s also going to be a warm but sleek layer that I can wear under blazers, rain coats, and more. Plus, I can’t stop thinking about how adorable it’d look with black jeans and heels.
Pilcro Liquid Shine Buttondown Shirt
Anthropologie
“I’m a sucker for a button-down for any sort of special moment,” shares my sister. “It’s the perfect shirt for the holiday season, and it’s easy to dress up or dress down,” she adds. It’s also cropped, so it shows off your figure more than baggy styles, and it comes in three colors, all of which have a sparkly edge over workwear ones.
Bhldn Francesca High-Neck Stretch Velvet Maxi Dress
Anthropologie
“This dress is absolutely stunning,” says my mom. She adds that the brown velvet color looks “rich and luxurious” and has “just the right amount of sheen that makes it perfect for an evening out or a special occasion.” (Mom, if you buy this, I’m “borrowing” it this holiday season.)
