Who Was Eliminated on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Last Night?

Dancing with the Stars is in full swing.

The ABC hit dancing series premiered on Sept. 16, and fans were treated to a night of glitz and glamour from the 14 celeb-pro-dancer duos competing in season 34. On the menu for the first week of DWTS was a collection of Latin ballroom dances set to the contestants’ personal anthems.

Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro confirmed that nobody would be eliminated on night one. However, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson solidified themselves as the couple to beat after judge Derek Hough declared that their performance was “the best first dance” he’s “ever seen on the show.”

The former DWTS pro famously won season 21 of the show with Irwin’s sister, Bindi Irwin, in 2015. Hough joked that he was “so relieved” after watching the late Steve Irwin‘s son.

Things heated up during Sept. 23’s episode, which featured a double elimination on One-Hit Wonders Night and sent two contestants out of the ballroom. Keep reading to find out who got eliminated this week on Dancing with the Stars.

Davis was eliminated during week two, after performing a samba to Mark Morrison‘s “Return of the Mack” with his partner, Stewart. Following their performance, judge Carrie Ann Inaba pointed out a mistake Davis made towards the end, and while she said she wanted to “see more” of him,” she was “at a loss.” The basketball player scored an 18/30.

In his final message to fans after being eliminated, Davis said he “wanted to” win for his dance partner, Stewart. “I haven’t been coached in a while, so to get off my butt was awesome,” he said.
