Paige DeSorbo Says Fame Has ‘Changed’ ‘Giggly Squad’ Co-Host Hannah Berner

Paige DeSorbo had a hilarious response to how fame has “changed” comedian Hannah Berner.

On an episode of the popular YouTube talk show Hot Ones, which features celebrities eating increasingly spicy chicken wings, Berner, 34, and her bestie/co-host of their podcast Giggly Squad sat down for a joint episode.

In the episode, the two former Summer House stars have the choice between answering a question one asks of the other or abstaining, and instead, eating a very spicy wing.

Throughout the episode the two asked each other whether they thought a selection of male comedians are funny or not, to name their biggest relationship ick and even what historical cult they would join if given the chance.

During one moment, Berner reading off of a cue card, asked DeSorbo, “How has fame changed me?”

To which DeSorbo, 32, joked, “You’re a bitch now.”

Doubling down, she then told her best friend, “you’re a monster,” citing new “18 inch extensions” as proof of Berner’s new fame-rooted behavioral changes, to which Berner answered with a flip of her hair.

“I can’t look you in the face,” DeSorbo joked.

Becoming serious, DeSorbo made sure to add that she actually doesn’t feel that Berner has changed as a result of her online presence and role as a comedian.

“Like not even a little, like prettier or anything?” Berner retorted.

“Your glam team’s working overtime,” DeSorbo said with a laugh. “Thank god you have the money to pay them.”

Recently the pair also opened up about their relationship with all things glam at the Byrdie Social Club event in New York on Thursday, Sept. 18. The two besties, who are alike in more ways than not, opened up about the differences in the way that the two take care of their skin.

“Paige is a maximalist when it comes to stuff. She’ll also try anything and gets marketed [to] very easily… [whereas] I don’t trust anything,” Berner joked.

According to the We Ride at Dawn comedian, washing her face and applying moisturizer is her regimen, saying that the practice always leaves DeSorbo in shock, especially when she thinks about the money she spends on her appearance. Continuing on, Berner opened up about the real trick to achieving her skin’s look — being happy with herself the way she is.

“I don’t look in the mirror a lot,” she said. “Sometimes, you get in your head about stuff. It’s like a comedy joke — if I listen to it too much, it stops being funny. If you look at yourself too much, you start being like, ‘I hate that. I hate that,’ so I always look at the mirror a little…then I envision myself as the hottest version of myself all day.”
